We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager/Product Owner to lead and optimize the development processes for the core platform. This position requires a solid technical background, strong leadership abilities, and experience managing software development teams. The focus is on optimizing platform development processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role;
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban);
- Proficiency in modern development tools and frameworks (e.g., Java, Spring Boot, Angular, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes);
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills;
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams;
- Experience in platform development, ideally in the identity or cybersecurity sector, is a plus;
- Fluency in English.
Responsibilities:
Platform Development Process Management:
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for the platform;
- Establish best practices for development, code reviews, testing, and deployment;
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Team Leads to set clear development goals and timelines.
Team Leadership and Resource Management:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of over 25 Software Developers;
- Work closely with HR and senior management for talent acquisition, onboarding, and training;
- Allocate resources effectively across projects to maximize productivity and maintain quality.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as the primary liaison between the development team and senior management.
- Facilitate clear communication across teams, ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and expectations.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and QA Engineers to translate requirements into technical tasks.
Project Delivery and Quality Assurance:
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards;
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance and software quality;
- Proactively identify and address potential risks and bottlenecks.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance development efficiency.
