Dreamforce 2024 in San Francisco was a deluge of new insights.
And in our current era of artificial intelligence (AI), the new insights are pretty exciting.
Customertimes had the chance to be a part of the event last week.
Here are some of the key updates we heard at the event.
To begin, Salesforce has unveiled a new suite of AI-powered tools designed to transform industries by enhancing operational efficiency and improving customer interactions.
The new offerings underscore Salesforce's commitment to leveraging AI, and data-driven solutions across various sectors, including healthcare, life sciences, and business operations.
What piqued my interested was the announcement around #AgentForce, a customizable AI agent that automates routine tasks, freeing up professionals to focus on more complex responsibilities.
There were also updates around Data Cloud, which is improving how it unifies data from multiple sources to provide real-time, actionable insights. These AI-driven solutions aim to streamline workflows, increase productivity, and enhance personalized customer service.
"We are at an incredible moment," said Madeleine McCray, EVP of Healthcare and Life Sciences at Salesforce.
"We have the opportunity to combine AI and trusted data to create endless possibilities within this industry."
Salesforce’s tools like the Life Sciences Cloud aim to accelerate drug development and improve patient outcomes by offering tools for clinical trials and patient engagement.
The company's AI solutions, such as Life Sciences AI, enable clinical trial auto-matching and benefits verification, bolstered by an extended partnership with AWS to improve patient support programs.
"AI is not going to replace people, but rather it will help us unlock our human potential so that we can move faster, we can do things with more productivity and be more efficient,” McCray said.
Salesforce also highlighted its success with clients such as Blue Shield of California, which has used its Health Cloud to streamline operations and improve patient care.
"We've been able to close 14,000 care gaps," said Lisa Davis, CIO of Blue Shield. "We're improving the quality of care, we're improving the experience for our members and providers."
Salesforce’s integration of these tools into industries like healthcare, life sciences, and business operations continues to position the company as a leader in AI innovation and customer relationship management.
Stay tuned for more on these updates.
