Senior ServiceNow Consultant
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Specialist to join our team and provide expertise in developing and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations.
Job Description
You will be responsible for the design, configuration, and operation of ServiceNow applications. You will work closely with our project team to understand business needs, implement solutions, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Expertise level understanding of ServiceNow Platform and its capabilities are required;
- Experience with understanding business needs and how to standardize processes and solutions at a design level;
- Good understanding of service-oriented architecture, software application architecture, and the ability to consult with end users about these topics;
- Experience with web technologies JavaScript, ES5+, HTML, CSS/SCSS, SQL;
- Experience in one or more JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or React is a plus;
- Knowledge of web-based protocols and standards (Web services, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML);
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations;
- Experience in working with global teams;
- Being able to lead small project teams is a plus;
- Result-oriented and good communication skills;
- Critical thinking skills and ability to work through problems;
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience with ServiceNow app development;
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience with ServiceNow modules like Service Portal, CSM, and ITSM is an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain ServiceNow applications and related integrations from initiation to completion, tailored to the business requirements;
- Develop workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications and automate and improve business processes;
- Understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality solutions to our customers;
- Design quality features and plan how the applications and solutions will evolve in the future;
- Solving complex problems in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment;
- Having a strong focus on code quality, reusability, and maintainability.
