Our client is revolutionizing clinical research by developing technology-driven solutions to address the growing complexity and scale of research in drug development. They are building innovative products and operations to support new approaches to evidence generation and clinical trial execution.
In this role, you'll collaborate with oncologists, data scientists, and product experts to create cutting-edge tools that help doctors identify eligible patients for clinical trials. Your work will focus on increasing trial enrollment, particularly for diverse populations, driving meaningful impact in the medical field.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a software engineer;
- Startup Environment experience: Ability to thrive in a startup setting, demonstrating creativity, adaptability, and resourcefulness to get tasks done;
- Customer-Focused: Strong empathy for users, with a knack for identifying value and delivering impactful solutions;
- Strong Problem-solving skills;
- Communication: Strong ability to collaborate and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, coupled with excellent communication skills;
- Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity, with a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge-sharing.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in agile development environments;
- Expertise in object-oriented programming languages such as Python;
- Experience with React for frontend development and Postgres as a relational database;
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and data warehouse solutions like Snowflake.

Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the complete software development lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing maintenance;
- Apply best practices in coding, testing, and documentation to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly software;
- Rapidly iterate on products while maintaining engineering practices that ensure quality and security;
- Work with complex data pipelines using a variety of data processing tools;
- Must be able to work US East Coast working hours (Work day must include hours between 11AM-4PM EST).
