Job Description

In this role, you will work with our customer — a global American company, a leader in the development and implementation of software in the field of healthcare and clinical research. The company not only provides software as a product but also as a service. Provides a full cycle, starting from clinical research methodology to process automation.

You will be responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining new and existing databases to help users retrieve data effectively.  

As part of our team, you will work closely with Tableau and other data engineers to ensure system consistency. You will also collaborate with clients to provide technical support and groom new requirements with a team. Communication and organization skills are keys for this position, along with a problem-solving attitude.  

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of data engineering experience;
  • Coding proficiency in Python and strong knowledge of SQL;
  • Proficiency in Databricks and PySpark;
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud data platform services;
  • Experienced in building complex ETL pipelines (experience with Airflow is a plus), understand basic concepts of Data Warehousing and Data Governance;
  • Knowledge or experience in CI/CD environments and testing;
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills;
  • A problem-solving attitude and ability to understand front-end users' requirements;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Verbal and written English: intermediate or upper.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain scalable and robust big data processing infrastructure, including data pipelines using Databricks and Airflow;
  • Optimize and maintain existing solutions;
  • Develop Lakehouse architecture according to requests and perform tests;
  • Groom and estimate user requirements and identify new features;
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and stakeholders to elicit data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
