SAP Tricentis Technical Architect

Job Description

In this role, you will work with our customer — a Software Development company well known for its test automation tools, especially for SAP solutions. We are extending our team of professionals who are helping the customer in continuous product development and innovations, as well as its deeper embedding into the SAP system landscape.

This senior-level position focused on leading the technical architecture and customization of SAP ERP solutions, particularly in SAP S/4HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in SAP technical architecture, customization, and integration and will play a key role in the design and execution of complex SAP projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that business and technical requirements are transformed into scalable, high-performance solutions, leveraging SAP technologies and tools.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers, to ensure the technical success of SAP S/4HANA and related applications. Your expertise in SAP BTP, Cloud ALM, and Tricentis/Tosca will be key in delivering modern and robust SAP solutions.

Requirements: 

• 7+ years of experience in SAP ERP implementation and customization, with hands-on experience in designing and leading technical architecture for SAP solutions;

• At least 1 SAP S/4HANA project experience as a Technical Architect, ideally focusing on greenfield implementations and transformations;

• Deep expertise in Cloud SAP ERP (S/4HANA, Cloud ALM) and strong practical understanding of the Clean Core concept;

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SAP BTP development, integration, and process automation tools;

• Experience with SAP Signavio, Cloud ALM, LeanIX, and how these tools integrate into complex SAP projects;

• Proven experience in the use of Tricentis/Tosca testing tools and a solid understanding of their integration within SAP ALM;

• Strong knowledge of E2E business processes and SAP best practices, particularly in O2C, P2P, PDP, and R2R;

• Industry expertise in SAP Industry Solutions for Lifesciences, FSI (Core Banking and Insurance), or Utilities is a significant advantage;

• Experience with Business Process Modelling (BPM) tools for designing, mapping, and automating business processes;

• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with global teams;

• A strong team player with a proactive attitude, leadership skills, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead technical architecture: Define and deliver the technical architecture for SAP ERP implementations, especially for SAP S/4HANA transformations, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and SAP best practices;

• SAP S/4HANA implementation: Lead and actively participate in SAP S/4HANA implementations, with a focus on technical architecture, customization, and integration. Experience with Raise/Grow models and Cloud ERP will be crucial in guiding the project's success;

• Customization & technical requirements: Oversee the customization of SAP systems to meet client needs. Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather technical requirements, document them clearly, and convert them into technical specifications for development teams;

• Cloud and Clean Core expertise: Ensure the implementation of the Clean Core concept in SAP S/4HANA solutions, leveraging SAP BTP for seamless integration, process automation, and the adoption of cloud technologies;

• SAP BTP and integration: Utilize SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) to develop solutions, integrate systems, and automate processes. Provide guidance on BTP tools and services to optimize SAP applications and ensure scalability and efficiency;

• Use of SAP tools: Implement and utilize SAP Signavio, Cloud ALM, LeanIX, and related tools to streamline business processes, enhance project delivery, and maintain lifecycle management within SAP projects;

• Testing & ALM integration: Ensure the successful integration of Tricentis/Tosca testing tools within the SAP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) process, meeting high-quality implementation and testing standards;

• End-to-end process expertise: Provide in-depth guidance on E2E business processes and implementation of SAP best practices, specifically in key areas like O2C (Order to Cash), P2P (Procure to Pay), PDP (Product Development Process), and R2R (Record to Report);

• Industry solutions knowledge: Provide technical expertise and guidance for implementing SAP Industry Solutions in Lifesciences, Financial Services Industry (FSI), including Core Banking and Insurance, or Utilities;

• Business Process Modelling (BPM): Lead the application of Business Process Modelling (BPM) tools for designing and mapping business processes to SAP solutions;

• Collaboration & communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, Developers, and business stakeholders. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders;

• Team leadership: Lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture and ensuring that all technical solutions are delivered on time and to specification.
