Job description:

We are seeking a Delivery Head to lead a Salesforce-focused project for a major pharmaceutical client in Europe. This is a long-term, high-impact project aimed at enhancing a custom Salesforce solution to optimize field rep activities related to orders and merchandising for pharmacies. The role combines technical leadership with strategic business alignment, where you will collaborate with sales teams while ensuring technical integrity and managing complex stakeholder relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in IT delivery management, with a proven track record in Salesforce implementations and/or mobile application delivery;
  • Deep understanding of delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello);
  • Proven ability to work effectively in multicultural environments, demonstrating excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills;
  • Strong experience managing budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations for complex IT projects;
  • Experience in presales activities, including creating proposals, project estimations, and engaging clients to identify business opportunities;
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Strong soft skills, including adaptability, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution abilities.

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in German or French;
  • Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget constraints;
  • Oversee Salesforce implementation and integration projects, managing all phases of the project lifecycle—from initiation to deployment and post-go-live support;
  • Collaborate with multicultural teams, stakeholders, and senior management to define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria;
  • Work with sales teams during the presales phase, contributing to solution proposals, project estimations, and client presentations;
  • Identify revenue-generation opportunities within ongoing projects by suggesting enhancements, upselling services, or proposing additional solutions aligned with client needs;
  • Ensure adherence to delivery best practices, quality standards, and compliance with organizational and technical requirements;
  • Establish and maintain project governance, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and performance metrics to stakeholders;
  • Act as a mentor and escalation point for project teams, facilitating collaboration and resolving conflicts to maintain project momentum;
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery within timelines and quality standards;
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery processes and team efficiency;
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment within multicultural teams, leveraging diverse perspectives to achieve project success.
