Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer

Customertimes is hiring a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer. As a part of our team, you will implement new features using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) scripting language based on JavaScript.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in web development
  • Strong knowledge of Storefront Reference Architecture
  • Deep understanding of the MVC architecture and Salesforce data model
  • Strong skills of front-end technologies (JavaScript ES6+, CSS, HTML)
  • Strong skills in jQuery or a similar library
  • Experience in working with APIs and 3rd party system integrations
  • 2+ years of Salesforce front-end and back-end development experience (Apex, Lightning Component and Web Components, VisualForce, SOQL)
  • Knowledge of general e-commerce terms and functional elements
  • Proven track record delivering mission-critical, enterprise web applications
  • Expertise developing products using web services, XML, SOAP, REST, HTTPS, API, RSA encryption, XPath, and XSD Schemas
  • Experience with version control software such as Git or similar
  • Intermediate/advanced English
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) developer certification would be considered as a huge plus
  • Experience in working with platform-specific API’s: Salesforce
  • Commerce Cloud Script API and Salesforce Commerce Cloud OCAPI

Responsibilities

  • Implement new features using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) scripting language based on JavaScript
  • Implement front-end features using jQuery library
  • Create and maintain code documentation
  • Debug and troubleshoot software defects
  • Collaborate with the team, client and Project Manager to fully understand the business requirements
  • Communicate efficiently and accurately with the Project Manager and report any progress and/or delays
