Lead Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and well-organized Lead Data Engineer to join our BI and Data practice.

This position will require someone passionate about delivering high-quality results and technical expertise.

3+ years of direct experience working in Enterprise Data Platforms technologies
Experience in data acquisition (API calls/FTP downloads), ETL, transformation/normalization (from raw to DB table schema structure), storage (Raw files, Database server), distribution & access (Entitlements for users, build of API’s and access points for data)
Proficient in ETL/ELT process
Hands-on experience with SQL & Python
Experience taking a project from conception through the full software development life cycle
Experience in leadership positions, mentoring, and developing engineers
Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
Proficient understanding of various technologies for data processing
Good communication skills

ETL implementation
Development of data pipelines and migration of data
Communication with analysts to ensure a good result
Be a leader in the team, in data development and practical technical design of data pipelines
Address issues related to scalability, consistency, reliability, efficiency, and maintainability

Working experience in the insurance industry
