We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and well-organized Data Architect to join our BI and Data Practice

This position will require someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality results and technical expertise

- 3+ years of experience with increasingly complex data modelling to support BI development
- Experience taking a project from its conception through the full software development life

cycle

Experience in leadership positions
Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
Deep understanding of various technologies for processing and storing large amounts of data

SQL: Ability to arrange data into analytics-ready tables/views using SQL code against a Snowflake warehouse
BI Visualization Tools: Power BI is a must
Understanding of data modelling and best practices for performance tuning and query optimization for Power BI from Desktop through Service and Embedding
Problem Solving: ability to work in tandem with others to continually progress a project towards goals while remaining flexible and creative

Development and testing of data workflow
Communication with analysts to ensure a good result
Be a leader in the team, in data development, and in practical design of databases, data warehouses, and data lakes, with the ability to distinguish their differences
Address issues related to scalability, consistency, reliability, efficiency, and maintainability
