Business Development Player/Coach Team Lead

Customertimes is hiring a Business Development Manager to lead our global BDR team. We're looking for a dedicated frontline manager with proven experience in delivering strong, profitable pipeline.

About the role:

This job requires a high energy person who views challenges as opportunities and has extensive experience running cold outreach campaigns. Read no further if this does not describe you. We are looking for a passionate frontline team lead to develop and manage our global BDR team. Your primary focus will be ensuring your team is delivering repeatable & profitable pipeline – and you are not afraid to step in when needed to ensure goals are met. You will measure BDR performance, monitor & coach daily activity inputs such as calls, social outreach and emails, and work with Sales leadership to ensure profitable BDR opportunities are successfully handed off to Sales and closing. Your enthusiasm and entrepreneurship will be a valuable contribution to developing our BDR/sales strategy, increasing the size and impact of the team, and establishing a culture of high-performance execution. This role reports directly to our CMO with dotted line reporting to the Sr. Demand Generation Manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Creative and entrepreneurial mindset to consistently met/exceed revenue goals
  • Remotely manage a team of BDRs
  • Develop robust onboarding & continued training program
  • Provide day to day coaching & professional development, including weekly 1:1 meetings, weekly shadow sessions, and routine co-selling
  • Working with the Sr. Demand Generation Manager, build, manage and track outbound campaigns
  • Along with your team, qualify leads based on specific guidelines and criteria, ensuring the effective use of Salesforce.com
  • Optimize the BDR program across all our KPIs and deliver ROI
  • Achieve all performance targets for meetings held and opportunities generated
  • Manage the scorecard to track and communicate weekly goals to drive consistent performance week over week
  • Become an integral part of Marketing and Sales leadership

Requirements

  • 4- year degree OR equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of inside sales/lead generation management experience
  • 2+ years of B2B technology sales experience – specifically Salesforce, and consulting services
  • Player/coach mentality
  • A track record of problem-solving and fearless with trying new ideas and concepts
  • Background of hiring, training, and enabling reps for success
  • Knowledge of sales tools including Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, Sales automation (Reply.io and Twilio a plus) and LinkedIn Navigator
