Senior Data Scientist

Job Description

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical implementation and business strategy. You will guide clients through complex challenges, ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality models and actionable insights. This role also involves staying at the forefront of data science advancements and leveraging cutting-edge tools to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:  

Hard Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field;

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Science or Machine Learning;

• Strong knowledge of ML algorithms, including regression techniques, decision trees, clustering, and statistical modeling;

• Proven experience in Deep Learning and Large Language Models (LLMs) with practical applications in real-world scenarios would be a significant advantage;

• Familiarity with Reinforcement Learning is a plus;

• Expertise in frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch; deep expertise in any of these is an advantage;

• Experience in MLOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong plus;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for research and innovation;

• Solid understanding of data structures, modeling, and software architecture, including implementation in production environments;

• Proven ability to translate technical solutions into actionable business insights.

Soft Skills:

• Fluent English proficiency, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills;

• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration in a global, multicultural, and multinational environment;

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, tailoring your approach to diverse audiences;

• Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously while also thriving as a collaborative member of international project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high-impact DS/ML models tailored to client needs, utilizing techniques such as recommendation systems, regression methods, A/B testing, and so on;

• Prototype and validate baseline models to establish strong foundations for scalable and adaptable solutions in a client-centric environment;

• Implement MLOps workflows, including CI/CD/CT pipelines, using tools like MLflow, Kubernetes, and Docker to ensure models are production-ready and maintainable;

• Deploy and monitor models in production, ensuring robustness, scalability, and business value while minimizing downtime;

• Analyze and interpret data, delivering actionable insights that directly influence client decision-making and drive measurable business outcomes;

• Stay at the forefront of data science innovations, advising clients on emerging tools, techniques, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge;

• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to translate business objectives into data science solutions, adapting quickly to the needs of different industries and project scopes;

• Act as a technical mentor, guiding clients and team members through complex challenges, conducting workshops, and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables;

• Contribute to the firm's growth, enhancing the DS/ML portfolio and supporting pre-sales activities, including client presentations and proposals.
