Job Description

You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive requirements gathering, analyzing business needs, and facilitating communication between stakeholders and the development team. Your expertise will ensure the successful delivery of patient support systems, focusing on product information, usage guidance, and insurance management.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3 years in a lead role;
  • Experience in software development projects and familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques;
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies;
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence);
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages and databases is a plus.

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), or equivalent are preferred.

Soft Skills:

  • Leadership and team management capabilities;
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements and environments;
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Domain Knowledge:

  • Understanding of the industry domain relevant to the project (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail);
  • Ability to quickly grasp and articulate business processes and requirements.

Responsibilities:

Project Management and Coordination:

  • Lead and manage the business analysis activities within the project;
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, developers, and other team members;
  • Ensure that the business analysis deliverables are completed on time and within scope.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, and surveys;
  • Analyze and document business requirements, ensuring they align with business objectives;
  • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations;
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the development team;
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns promptly.

Documentation:

  • Prepare detailed documentation, including business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, use cases, and user stories;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.

Solution Design and Validation:

  • Collaborate with the architect and the development team to design solutions that meet business requirements;
  • Validate the implemented solutions through testing and ensure they meet the documented requirements;
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and obtain sign-off from stakeholders.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvement within the business analysis function and the overall project;
  • Implement best practices and methodologies to enhance project efficiency and quality.

Team Leadership and Mentoring:

  • Lead a team of business analysts, providing guidance and support;
  • Mentor junior business analysts and facilitate their professional development;
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with business requirements and solution design;
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.
