CUSTOMERTIMES CORP CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT NOTICE

Pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), Customertimes Corp. provides this Customertimes Corp California Consumer Privacy Act Notice (“CCPA Notice”). This CCPA Notice supplements our Privacy Notice, available at http://customertimes.tk/privacy-policy/ and applies solely to California consumers.

1. Introduction

This CCPA Notice explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information about California consumers, and the rights that California consumers have under the CCPA. This CCPA Notice explains how California consumers can exercise their rights to request that Customertimes Corp. (1) provide certain personal information that we have collected about them during the past 12 months, along with related information described below, and/or (2) delete certain personal information that we have collected from them.

2. Personal Information

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers such as a real name, alias, postal address, telephone or mobile contact number, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address and account name.
  • Personal information as defined in the California customer records law, such as name, contact information, education, employment, employment history and financial information.
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as browsing history, search history, online behavior, interest data, and interactions with our and other websites, applications, systems and advertisements.
  • Professional or employment-related information, such as job title as well as work history.

We disclose the above categories of personal information to our contractors for the purposes of providing services to Customertimes Corp; to our referral partners; and other parties where required by law or to protect our rights for our operational business purposes.

Personal information does not include:

  • Publicly available information from government records.
  • De-identified or aggregated consumer information.
  • Information excluded from the CCPA's scope, such as health or medical information covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

We do not sell personal information that is subject to the CCPA’s sale limitations. The CCPA defines a “sale” as the disclosure of personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration.

We obtain the personal information listed above from the following categories of sources:

  • Directly from you. For example, (i) if you visit our websites, participate in a telephone interaction, or (ii) if you fill out a form or communicate with us through one of our websites to receive information about our products or services.
  • Indirectly from our clients or their agents. For example, through information we collect from our clients in the course of providing services to them.
  • Directly and indirectly from activity on our websites. For example, from observing your actions on our websites or through your submission of an online form requesting a demonstration or walkthrough for one of our products or services.
  • From third parties that contract with us or interact with us in connection with the services we perform. Examples include companies or organizations to whom we provide products or services, partners, marketing firms, and financial institutions.

We may use this personal information to operate, manage, and maintain our business, to provide our products and services, to communicate with you, and to accomplish our business purposes and objectives, including, for example, using personal information to: develop, improve, repair, and maintain our products and services; process or fulfill a request or other transactions submitted to us; personalize, advertise, and market our products and services; conduct research, analytics, and data analysis; maintain our facilities and infrastructure; conduct risk and security control and monitoring; detect and prevent fraud; perform identity verification; perform accounting, audit, and other internal functions; comply with law, legal process, and internal policies; maintain records; exercise and defend legal claims; and fulfill legal obligations.

3. Consumer Rights

You have the right to request that we disclose to you (i) the categories of personal information we collected about you and the categories of sources from which we collected such information; (ii) the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you; (iii) the business or commercial purpose for collecting personal information about you; and (iv) the categories of personal information about you that we shared or disclosed and the categories of third parties with whom we shared or to whom we disclosed such information in the preceding 12 months. You also have the right to request that we delete personal information we collected from you subject to certain exceptions.

You also have the right to not be discriminated against in pricing and services because you exercise any of your rights under the CCPA. Customertimes does not offer financial incentives or price or service differences to consumers in exchange for the retention or sale of a consumer’s personal information.

4. Making a Request

You may make a request for the disclosures or deletion described above by contacting Customertimes Corp. at data.privacy@customertimes.com. You may be required to submit proof of your identity for these requests to be processed as a verifiable consumer request. We may not be able to comply with your request if we are unable to confirm your identity or to connect the information you submit in your request with personal information in our possession. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf subject to proof of identity and authorization.

Privacy and data protection laws, other than the CCPA, may apply to the personal information that we collect, use, and disclose. When these laws apply, personal information may be exempt from, or outside the scope of, access requests and deletion requests. As a result, in some instances, we may decline all or part of request related to this personal information. This means that we may not provide some or all of this personal information when you make an access request. Also, we may not delete some or all of this personal information when you make a deletion request.

5. Changes

We will update this CCPA Notice from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
