QA Automation Engineer

Customertimes is a global IT consulting company headquartered in New York City with offices in 11 countries. We specialize in the development and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions for business transformation. Today we are looking for QA Automation Engineer!

Qualifications

Basic

• 3+ years of experience with web automation testing
• Experience with Java (or at least one OOP programming language)
•  Experience with development of scripts, especially for object-oriented frameworks (Java, Jenkins, Selenium, and Jira)
• Experience with Git
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, tools, and processes
• Experience working in an Agile team
• Experience building CI/CD processes for automation frameworks using Jenkins/GitLab, CI/Azure DevOps, or any other tool
• English at Upper-Intermediate level

Preferred

• Experience in mobile AQA (Android or iOS using Appium)
• Passion for Linux and other open-source platforms
• Experience in performance testing

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and business representatives to clarify business requirements
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
• Participate in team meetings
• Estimate effort of testing activities
• Develop, execute, and maintain automation tests
• Track and report quality assurance metrics (like defect densities and open defect counts)
• Use automation frameworks to perform UI and API testing
