MuleSoft Presale Architect

Toronto, Remote

The MuleSoft Presale Architect will support the sales team by helping with estimates, design proposals, and demo preparation, and will facilitate communication between product teams and locations.
Please, note this position is Canada-based only.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in the role of a senior developer or architect for 1-3 years with MuleSoft (4.x) or another integrations platform:
  • Developing integration scenarios
  • Preparing technical documentation
  • Deep knowledge of the used integration platforms
Integration technologies experience:
  • REST and SOAP web services
  • MQ
  • FTP/SFTP
Other experience:
  • Deep knowledge in integration patterns and cases of their implementation
  • Experience in preparing technical documentation
  • English: Advanced level
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales team in technical estimates, design proposals and demo preparation
  • Support sales teams with customer demos online/onsite
  • Study training materials and pass MuleSoft exams
  • Investigate new MuleSoft features and prepare MVP/fast start packs built on top of them
  • Participate in MuleSoft diagnostics programs for different customers
  • Take part in new industrial expertise development inside the company
  • Travel between different Customertimes locations, communicate with project teams, collect and organize information regarding technologies used and results achieved on each project
  • Collect ideas from internal teams regarding new product and accelerators to be introduced inside company and “sell” them to internal investors
  • Attend MuleSoft events and play the role of MuleSoft news ambassador inside the company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with any integration solutions (JBoss Fuse, Apache Camel, WSO2);
  • Development experience on the Java EE platform (JBoss EAP, IBM WebSphere);
  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce, and MS Dynamics products as a developer / consultant;
  • Experience participating in and supporting integration scenarios
